The figures above from Royal Mint Report.
The year on the coins in order executed is not given in the Royal Mint Report of 1939.
It has been associated with the 1940 issue by Pridmore(1961), and Remick(1968)
under the assumption it was part of that order, and 1937 issue by Robert Harris(1970).
In 1942 September 8th, it changed to a thinner low relief coin of half the weight to conserve metal for war and an unknown fraction of the 1942 issue listed above are of this type.
