1951 5-cents is only a proof. Not issued as currency for circulation,
but not so scarce since it has been restruck in India for collectors.
This was Lanka's first NCLT (Non Circulating Legal Tender).
The Detailed breakdown from Royal Mint Reports indicates that all of
the coins minted for
issue till 1962 used the frozen year 1945.
